N2 - Ebony (Diospyros celebica) is a slow-growing species that is an impacting factor in the extinction of this species. Efforts to prevent a decline in the ebony population can be done by using microbes to accelerate the growth of ebony. This study aimed to obtain bacterial isolates with the potential to produce IAA and GA3, thus can be used as biofertilizer agents. This research was performed with steps that include soil sampling, isolation, purification of bacteria producing IAA and GA3 hormones, and analysis of IAA and GA3 hormones. The research analysis used was a completely randomized design (CRD). At the isolation stage, 13 bacterial isolates were successfully purified. The study showed the IAA highest concentrations: 44.39 ppm (EP1b) at 48 hours of incubation, 34.93 ppm (EP3d), and 34.48 ppm (EP3c) at 72 hours of incubation. In the analysis of the GA3, the highest concentrations were 3.88 ppm (EP2c), 3.88 ppm (EP2e), and 3.81 ppm (EP2a) at 24 hours of incubation time. The results showed that 6 isolates had the potential to produce IAA and GA3, the three best bacterial isolates in producing IAA were EP1b, EP3d, and EP3c, while the 3 best GA3 producing isolates were EP2a, EP2c and EP2e.
